Information for specialists in Internal Medicine interested in attending EASIM:
1. Who Can Attend
The course is targeted at European young specialists in the first 10 years after completion of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine or related specialities (GPs, acute medicine, IM subspecialties, etc.), but also more experienced internists are welcome to participate. The course design is based on the well-proven format of the European School of Internal Medicine (ESIM) for residents, so there will also be plenty of opportunities for networking and socialising in a friendly and international atmosphere.
At the Advanced School, we aim to accept 15-20 young specialists from European countries, giving priority to applicants from EFIM member countries (http://www.efim.org/about/member-countries) and those who have previously participated in ESIM. The selection of applicants by the organizing committee will be based on experience and motivation and will also take into consideration the overall balance of the delegate group in terms of experience and geographical origin.
All lectures and classroom interactions will be in English, hence applicants must be fluent in English.
